Half of my Heart came home from the first part of Hickstead’s National Championships yesterday, and is as bright as a button. She’s had a busy week, jumping in the 1.40m qualifiers getting a 2nd, before getting 8th in the jump off, of the 1.40/1.50m Sussex Cup on Sunday. It’s been a minimum of 30 degrees heat in the main arena, yet she’s been wonderful, you would just not know what a busy time she’s had. She is fed Metazone Powder daily and had a Metazone Syringe each jumping morning.

A few months ago I started feeding Metazone Powder to my wonderful mare and we have recently qualified for RDS Dublin horse show in amateurs! She felt absolutely amazing, I also give an EnerG Shot before competitions which really helps! It was an all day event and she had to jump 3 rounds. She didn't feel tired, jumped really well and we qualified!
Apollo is a five year old gelding and home produced by myself. He is in his first season under saddle having been shown successfully in hand last year. He lives a little on his nerves and holds himself tight. Since feeding Metazone, he seems less stressed, more comfortable and is relaxing which is helping his way of going.
Our Champion Product is Metazone and we have been using it ever since it was first launched. My daughter thinks it's special as since she has been adding it to his daily feed, her 3\ event horse Tango has not had any issues for the last couple of seasons. They have a great partnership and have gone from BE80 to 3*, and are about to enter their first 4.
We feel that it has definitely made a difference to his way of going, especially supporting his joints and muscles after hard work. All in all, it works for us.
My favourite NAF product is Metazone. We were recommended it by a friend roughly 18 months ago and since starting on it Jeremy has been flying. He is now 17 and whilst he doesn’t have any specific aches or pains, it just keeps him moving nicely and loving his job!
Elton is 20 years old and we tried Metazone for the first time this year before the start of the show season, he can sometimes show signs of stiffness at ‘boot camp’. He was much improved, in fact he was feeling great, showing his moves to our physio and she said that's the best she's seen him coming out of winter! He had a serious tendon injury in his front foot and an injury to his right hind when he was younger that has caused some changes now he's getting older. I feel Metazone has really helped, especially since him and my boyfriend have taken up playing football; yes you can teach an old horse tricks! He's taught Elton to kick the ball so they can pass it back and forth and Elton can dribble the ball over, apparently he's both left and right footed and can fairly boot it! I'm just glad he had the Metazone during training so wasn't on the bench with an injury! His skin is also sensitive to fly bites and sometime these cause a reaction, however this year there has been no new bumps on his neck, the older ones have reduced and I think the itching is less! (He was fed Metazone when the midges started and were bad).
My son Jack has just turned 15 and is loving being on horses even though he has another year left on ponies. Jack has competed at top level on ponies and intends to do the same with his horses. We have been feeding Metazone and we’ve noticed with the slightly older ones that their performance seems to be getting better all the time. Jacks latest achievement with Kimba Classic, the horse that he qualified for the Bronze League class on was a win at the Royal Lancashire agricultural show.

I found feeding Metazone to my mare Alivia very beneficial, as she is an experienced horse who has competed on Team GB multiple times as well as previously two Youth European Championships so we are always looking to keep her feeling in peak condition especially during the competition season. I felt on the Metazone supplement that she was on top form within herself, which greatly helped her performance in the competition arena as we achieved a personal best score as a partnership at the recent Hickstead Premier League. I really felt as though the Metazone gave her that 'edge' to perform at her best! I will definitely be continuing the use of NAF Metazone and will certainly be trying out the syringes as well to give her that extra boost before a competition.
I started Kenny on Metazone a couple of weeks ago and I'm really pleased with the results. He is on a 8 week rehab programme from the vets and we're due back there next week. Before putting him on Metazone he was very stiff, and better on the straight but still a bit reluctant to go forwards at times. Since putting him on Metazone, his mobility has significantly improved and he looks a lot better on the lunge. He is also going forwards much better out hacking and seems a lot happier. Safe to say, I will be keeping him on this and will tell friends etc. about it.
We have had a number of our competition horses on Metazone, including an older gelding of 23 and a very special dressage mare of 15 yrs. Both of these horses are beginning to show signs of ageing. We have one of the powder and one on the liquid, both very palatable for them to eat. We have found them to both be more willing to work, both under saddle and in hand. We will continue to use both the liquid and powder as a staple within our supplement as we feel it supports the horses to enjoy a comfortable life.
I love the Metazone product and now have all my horses on it! Impy, my Bramham ride, went amazing and we finished 9th, it was so close at the top. One of my horses won’t eat, but since being on Metazone, not only does he eat all his feeds, but he now doesn’t take 15 minutes to get going when you school him. I have my six horses on Metazone and I really do think it’s extremely beneficial for them, especially as one is 28 years old and still in full work!
My 7yo mare Matilda is recovering from a kissing spine operation and has had intensive rehabilitation since. Although I could see progress it was very steady and Matilda still looked a little weak despite following a strict exercise plan. I started feeding Metazone and although initially I didn’t see any difference by the time I had given the product a few weeks she was really started to muscle up nicely, and look like a nice strong little horse. She seems happier in her work and is moving better than ever, of course some of this will be her strengthening up from her rehab work but I'm convinced that the Metazone has definitely helped us, and I have continued to feed it even after finishing the trial. A great supplement that will help maintain and improve a variety of horses.
I have been feeding Metazone to my 4yo ISH who has recently just been backed and who I hope to event in future. Before feeding it, she was still shedding her winter coat and was getting those annoying bumps on her skin from coat shedding. Since using Metazone her coat has come through and she is completely shining. The bumps on her skin have gone but I'm certain this is due to feeding Metazone.
