But what makes Magic different in a market of so many options? Well, put simply – it isn’t about calming, or dulling, your horse, but is about improving their focus and trainability. The Five Star Magic horse will be just as forward going and engaged, but able to focus that energy on the exercise in hand – whether that be the flags and distractions of going to a show, or negotiating the traffic on your local hacking route.
In an independently run, placebo controlled, trial at the renowned Royal Agricultural University, a group of reactive horses were recruited to trial, and, essentially, given an ‘intelligence test’. Tasked with working out the correct response, those benefiting from the unique key ingredients of Five Star Magic were able to show improved learning and focus. Crucially, the trial also looked at how the horses were in themselves, when left to chill in their box, and no difference was seen. The product had no effect on their normal character and alertness levels, but simply allowed them to focus, and gave them confidence, when it was needed.
